Hello,
My name is Mrs. Chhaya Sudhir Kulkarni.
At the outset I wish to complement you for having a desire to learn music. I am also a music lover like you and take a great pleasure in teaching music
to anyone who is interested in learning. I have been teaching music for more than last fifteen years.
Before my marriage, I was Chhaya Prabhakar Vyas. Teaching music is a tradition in Vyas family for generations. My grandfather Shri. Ramchandra Vyas started Vyas Sangeet Vidya Mandir at Vile Parle in Mumbai in 1947. The same was developed and nurtured by my parents Shri. Prabhakar Ramchandra Vyas and Mrs. Suhasini Prabhakar Vyas. It is further expanded and brought to its current form by my brother Kiran Vyas and sister in law Ujjwala Vyas. So music was my first passion and I learned it from my parents to begin with. The teaching skills also were in my genes and I further honed them while learning at Vyas Sangeet Vidya Mandir. |

After our marriage, I continued learning music at Gandharva Vidyalaya run by Pandit Vinay Chandra Moudgalya in New Delhi. Thereafter, I started teaching myself
and my first assignment was as a music teacher in a convent school. Also when I went back to Mumbai I taught music by starting private classes.
The idea of teaching music OnLine came to me when I realized that a big group of people simply did not have access to a good teacher
or had some constraints with time management due to their other obligations. The developments in the field of Internet also helped me to take this initiative.
I am teaching music online since April 2007 and overwhelmed with the response from the people world over. I have students in USA, UK, Australia, India, Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi and Fujairah (UAE)
I have completed my Sangeet Visharad under the guidence of Sangeet Praveen Dr. Manohar M Dabake Sir. Currently I am also taking OnLine lessons from Dabake Sir
for preparation of Sangeet Alankar.
I am taking my music advice from my
father and Guru Prabhakar R Vyas and brother and Guru Kiran Vyas.
